Walmerhood Takeaways

The logo we produced for Walmerhood Takeaways was a wonderful example of how simple things can be.

 

The business offering was pizzas and a menu with locally foraged ingredients, located in Walmer Estate, Woodstock, Cape Town. They asked for a brushed drawing of a pizza, and ink-brushed text for Walmerhood. The image was to be stamped on pizza boxes and have a simple, hand-made feel.

 

I created a page full of pizzas, and a page full of “Walmerhood”s, we chose our favourite of each, and that was that. The logo process and file creation took less tan two hours.
