Cacao Mama

Illustrations for Cacao Mama were created in collaboration with founder Serap Kara. Serap requested a circular representative artwork for each of Cacao Mama’s courses which could be used as a course cover and a badge, as well as printed as a sticker. From these we extracted a set of flexible illustrated image and text assets that could be used in various ways within Cacao Mama’s offering, as framing, border or edge elements.

 

Our work together also included a logo for Cacao Mama (the Cacao cup) and later a logo or badge artwork for Cacao Gardener, a land custodianship and cacao seedling growing and planting initiative in Colombia.

 

Artwork and lettering are hand painted on paper with water colour and ink.
